Baltimore area singers are invited to join Baltimore Choral Arts Society for the Fauré Requiem Come-and-Sing on Saturday, October 7 at 11:15 am at Grace United Methodist Church. This event is the first in our new Discovery Series, a set of free community events aimed at making choral music accessible to new audiences throughout our city.
This come-and-sing event presents a unique opportunity for the Baltimore music community: Singers of all ages and ability levels are welcome—no audition required—to join us in rehearsing and performing this choral masterwork. Participants will learn from our expert conducting staff as we rehearse the piece together. A copy of the musical score will be provided for any singer who needs it. The event will culminate in a free public performance at 3:30pm.
While this event is completely free, space is limited, and advance registration is recommended. Please register as a singer or to attend the performance by visiting BaltimoreChoralArts.org or by calling our box office at 410-523-7070 ex. 301.
Baltimore Choral Arts, under the direction of Music Director Anthony Blake Clark, is one of Maryland’s premier professional cultural institutions. The Symphonic Chorus, Chorus, and Chamber Singers perform throughout the Mid-Atlantic region, as well as in Washington, DC, New York, and Europe.
